Introduction

Approximately 13.8 billion years ago, the history of the universe began with the Big Bang. Around 9.2 billion years later, the primordial form of our planet Earth emerged. At that time, its surface was covered in magma, and it must have been a scorching world in which the existence of life was beyond imagination. As time went on, within a chain of miraculous events, simple life forms akin to amoebae came into being. Through countless stages of evolution, they eventually gave rise to us, as we are today.

Life, bestowed upon us through such a long and intricate process, is truly precious and irreplaceable. The purpose of human beings lies in living, and to abandon life, or to take it from one another through futile conflict, is nothing less than a betrayal of that very purpose.

We strive for a peaceful world in which all life is equally respected, transcending the boundaries of nation, race, religion, and culture, while also working to preserve the Earth’s environment. To build a society free from violence and conflict, we value harmony between people and between humanity and nature, and we engage in activities that promote dialogue and learning.

Furthermore, we are committed to passing on to future generations the values of peace and the sanctity of life, and to working together to create a sustainable and peaceful world.
